Business apps that a person and their coding assistant use through the same account.

What is PocketContext?

PocketContext is an open-source suite of business applications — CRM, tasks, a wiki, expenses, HR, chat, and encrypted files — for people and their AI coding assistants to use together. You and your assistant share one identity. After you sign in with Google, you can read and edit records in the browser while your assistant queries the same data with read-only SQL and updates records through the application's REST API.

Each application keeps its own database and its own login. Signing into the wiki does not sign you into the CRM. The applications are MIT-licensed. A team can run them itself, or use a managed deployment.

A one-minute walkthrough

Suppose the CRM is DealContext, and you ask your assistant: "Which deals need a follow-up this week?"

The DealContext skill sends one SELECT to /api/context/query. The server runs it read-only, only against rows your account may see, and returns the deals and their latest activity. The assistant then creates the follow-up note through the records API. You open that deal in the browser, under the same account, and the note is there.

  You->>Agent: Which deals need a follow-up this week?
  Agent->>SQL: one SELECT
  SQL-->>Agent: deals and latest activity
  Agent->>API: create the follow-up note
  API-->>Agent: saved record
  You->>Browser: the same deal, with the note

The same shape — read with SQL, write through the records API, confirm in the browser — is how the other applications work. The platform page describes the server. The applications page lists each product.
